Help with AmGood

Connecting
How do two people connect?
One of you taps Invite someone and gets a six-digit code. The other taps I have a code and enters it. A code works once and lasts seven days.
The code didn't work.
It may have been used already or be more than seven days old. Ask for a new one. After ten wrong tries in an hour, entering codes pauses for a while.
What the status means
"All good"
Their phone showed activity on the last finished day. It says nothing about today.
"No activity for 2 days"
No activity was reported for that many finished days. It often has an ordinary cause: a phone left in a drawer, a dead battery, a trip with no signal, or a setting that stops AmGood working in the background. It is not an alarm.
"Paused" and "Sharing off"
Both are choices the other person made. Nothing is wrong.
Why does it only change once a day?
On purpose. The line changes at a fixed time, around the other person's noon, so it can never reveal when they picked up their phone.
Someone shows "No activity" but they're fine
On their phone, check three things:
- Notifications are allowed for AmGood.
- Background App Refresh is on, in Settings, General.
- Health access to Steps is allowed, in Settings, Health, Data Access.
Opening AmGood, or tapping the "All good?" reminder, also counts as a yes for that day.
Your choices
Pause
Settings tab, then Pause. While paused, nobody sees a count for you. No reason needed.
Stop sharing with one person
Settings tab, People, tap the person, then Stop sharing. They see "Sharing off".
Disconnect
Settings tab, People, tap the person, then Disconnect. You both stop seeing each other.
Widgets
Touch and hold the AmGood icon on your Home Screen and pick a size. For the Lock Screen, touch and hold it, tap Customize, tap the row under the clock, and choose AmGood. The Widgets screen in the app shows each shape.
Deleting your account
Settings tab, then Delete account. Your account, name, photo, note, days, connections and push token are deleted straight away. If you can't open the app, write to hello@amgood.app from the address you signed in with and we'll delete it for you.
Not an emergency service
AmGood must not be relied on for anyone's safety. If you are worried about someone right now, call them, or call your local emergency number.
